Venue: Knavesmire Stand, The Racecourse, York YO23 1EX. Entry for exhibitors is at the rear of the stand.
Show Date: Sunday 27th November 2011
Set up: from 7.00am on Sunday morning (please do not arrive before 7am).
CHILDREN UNDER 16 ARE NOT PERMITTED DURING SET UP/BREAKDOWN DUE TO HEALTH & SAFTEY REGULATIONS
Car Park/ Loading Areas: There will be an attendant on duty from 7am. Please do not leave your car in front of the glass at the front of the building. These will be reserved for a disabled drop off point during the event. We ask that you do not park your vehicle next to the building during the event. There should be enough room for a roadway around the venue, to allow emergency vehicles.
Exhibitor badges: If a regular trader these were mailed to you earlier in the year if not they will be mailed to you prior to the fair. Please can you place your vehicle pass in the front screen of your vehicle.
Loading Areas: PLEASE KEEP THESE CLEAR –THINK OF OTHERS. Unload and remove your vehicle at once. After the fair please pack up your stand before bringing your vehicle to the loading area.
Build up: Tables will be in place on arrival. Please keep within the space allocated (see attached layout plan).
Extra tables will be charged at £12 + vat and must be booked seven days in advance of the fair to guarantee availability. Tables measure 6ft x 2ft. All stands must be ready by 9.45am and display the Warners stand number which will be provided.
Electrics: Electric sockets will be available, please bring extension leads. All extension leads must be uncoiled, PAT tested and fitted with appropriate fuses.
Catering: This will be provided by the Racecourse. Refreshments will be available from 8am on Sunday.
Lift - Please do not overload the lifts, they will buckle if overloaded, the weight for the disabled lift is 1,000kg and the passenger lift is 1,600kg.
Trade Stands: all goods exhibited on your stand are your responsibility, and you must ensure that no items are put at any risk. Can we remind you to refer to the 80% handmade requirements that were sent out to you when you booked your stand.
Smoking: It is against the law to smoke in this venue.
Accommodation: We use a company called ‘findmeahotelroom.com’ a hotel booking service. They have negotiated discounts on our behalf. The telephone number is 01775 843414. This is a free of charge service, they will be happy to help you. Alternatively contact York Tourist Board, there are many hotels in the City.
Road Signage: Temporary road signs will be erected en route.

Break down: Do not dismantle your stand until 4pm and it is safe to do so. Packing away early, may affect your future invitations to this event.
